We partnered with the African American Chamber of Commerce Cincinnati Chapter for a one-month social media giveaway. Please meet one of the four winners Catrena, the CEO and founder of Inspired Fashion Boutique! Jasmine: Tell me a little about your background. Why and when did you decide to become a business owner?
Catrena: My love for fashion started at a very young age. I would come home from school, and my mother would have my entire outfit laid out for me. The shirt, pants, shoes, earrings, everything! I felt so special, and I always wanted other women to feel special and beautiful. Once I started my professional career, I always dabbled in fashion. Offering style sessions and style workshops. I had a fashion radio show and an internet tv show. Then in 2020, when the pandemic hit, I knew it was time to take it to the next level. I launched my online boutique, Inspired Fashion. Then last November, we opened our first brick-and-mortar location, and we are going strong!
Jasmine: What is your mission/company saying? How did you come up with that?
Catrena: Inspired Fashion’s motto is when you look good, you feel good. We cater to women of all sizes from 2-22. All women are beautiful in their own way. We specialize in helping women understand their shape and focus less on their size. As we age, our bodies change, and that’s just natural. We have to embrace that and learn what looks good on us now. We offer individual and group-style sessions to teach women what looks best on them. When you come into the boutique, each item is labeled with a shape chart. An hourglass, pear, apple, or rectangle shape. This serves as a guide to help women know which pieces will look best in their shape.
Jasmine: What services or products do you offer?

Jasmine: What products/services would you like to add in the future?
Catrena: We are launching an event calendar to include business networking for women, various nights of self-expression, including spoken word, singing, etc., and Ladies Nite Out! Sign up for our Newsletter, so you don’t miss any of the excitement.
Jasmine: What is unique about your company?
Catrena: We created and co-hosted the Inspired Fashion Radio Show, specializing in style advice and how to add pops of color to your wardrobe. We directed and hosted 2 fashion shows this year, and we launched our online boutique in February 2020 we have a monthly fashion article in the NKY Tribune. Fashion is part of our DNA.
Jasmine: How did you find out about Tsunoda Stylings?
Catrena: Through a social media giveaway collaboration with the African American Chamber of Commerce on Instagram.
Jasmine: Does your business give back to your community/charities?
Catrena: Inspired Fashion believes in giving back to women in our community! Please, be sure to partner with us! Inspired Fashion’s goal is to make a difference in the lives of single mothers. Our goal is to aid in providing professional attire to single mothers in post-secondary education. Jasmine: What are your goals for 2022?
Catrena: The brick-and-mortar location is just the beginning of our fashion journey. We plan to continue to grow our online presence, and we are looking for other women entrepreneurs that will want to partner to bring their products into the boutique.

Catrena: Our vision is for every woman to feel special and celebrated!
